At 84 years old we have a rich history which is all created by the extremely talented staff who work with us.

In November Jimmy one of our expert craftsmen celebrated 45 years of working for the Alwood by Alfred Briggs family. Starting as a young man straight after school Jimmy joined us to learn his craft as a cabinet maker. Jimmy has been part of the business throughout some very challenging times, however his commitment to the business never faltered.

As one of the most experienced craftsmen in our business Jimmy continually creates bespoke furniture to exceed our customers expectations. With his wealth of experience and knowledge Jimmy is an ambassador of teaching his skills to other team members.
