Here at Alwood we can’t wait to see what the New Year has in store for us. And not only is it a New Year, it’s our 90th Anniversary and we’re making the most of it. While lockdown feels like a distant memory, we’ve been working on something special in the background. This year will see the opening of our new showroom in Bangor in the spring, making Alwood Kitchens more available to those across Northern Ireland. While the new kitchen collections on display are both bold and elegant, we encourage you to come and visit us and see for yourselves how we can design a kitchen that’s tailored to you.
And how do we make sure we’re on top of the current kitchen design trends? We make sure to attend furniture exhibitions across the globe and this year is no different with our team here at Alwood attending the best furniture exhibition in the world this summer in Italy. Where we’ll return with new knowledge and fresh ideas to feed our inspiration and create something unique for you and your home.

So, we’ve invested and commissioned our new edging machine to make our Alwood furniture even more durable and practical, ensuring you can enjoy it for the years to come.

The Bora X BO oven
This year is no different when it come’s to bringing you the best that appliances have to offer and we’re proud to have the first Bora X BO oven in the country that is fully plumbed in and out, making sure you have the tools to cook on a truly professional level. Bora isn’t the only ones making advancements in appliances, Siemens is about to release a full-size oven with a microwave and steam function, equipped with a camera to ensure cooking stops once your food has browned properly.
Whether it be steam functions, or camera assisted cooking, Alwood will always strive to offer you choice so that you can not only enjoy looking at your kitchen, but enjoy cooking in it too.
